What we do
Centered on our own product "Vegetable Crayon®", we offer two businesses: our own product business, which develops products that color the time of parents and children, and the design business, which proposes graphic design and product design.
"washi" is a new project of mizuno Corporation, creator of "Oyasai Crayon".
It is an initiative to recycle fruits, vegetables, and flowers that would otherwise be thrown away into upcycled paper by blending them with used paper.

Our story
The Aomori-based design company mizuiro was founded in 2012 by a single mother-designer. Like many parents, the time we spend with our children is truly precious. That is why all of our services are designed from a mother's point of view, with the primary goal of enriching the time between parents and children.
For example, if the crayons that children use all the time were made of materials that are safe enough to put in their mouths. Even on winter days when they spend most of their time inside drawing, we hope that they will be able to think about the nature that lies outside. How wonderful it would be if the crayons that fulfill such a role were connected to Aomori, where we live. ......
Aomori's winters are long and deep with snow. The Oyasai Crayon, created in 2014, is a product that symbolizes these thoughts.
The word "design" is derived from the Latin word "Designare," which means "to draw a line or write a design. We design and incorporate into our services to enrich the time of parents and children. In this respect, we are rightly designers, and we are proud to be a "design company" rather than a general "design company. We are proud to be a "design company" rather than a general "design company.
Through lifestyle products such as crayons and coloring books, and through graphics such as logos and brochures, in other words, through the power of design, we want to create a wonderful world to leave behind for children.
