Super Insulation Material TIISA®
Thermalytica's TIISA® superinsulation material offers exceptional benefits compared to standard aerogel materials. Its innovative design, incorporating closed pores into its porous structure, results in remarkable reduction of heat conduction caused by gas flow. With particle size of just 300nm, TIISA® is made up of ultra-small particles, 1/1000th the size of traditional powder-form aerogel. This pioneering material represents a major advancement in superinsulation, balancing outstanding performance, affordability, and practicality.

Origins
TIISA® is an advanced thermal insulation material developed by the National Institute for Materials Science in Japan. Thermalytica Inc. was founded to promote the use of this innovative material across a range of industries, including aerospace, energy-saving, green buildings, semiconductors, EVs, hydrogen energy, and LNG thermal power generation. Our efforts are supported by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) and through collaboration with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
