I was shocked by the vast amounts of plastic and paper waste consumed while hosting parties, I found a way to turn to naturally abundant, compostable palm leaves to craft a unique, eco-friendly tableware solution inspired by my Indian culture of eating on leaves. This choice not only safeguards the environment but also supports the rural communities in India giving them employment and supporting their livelihoods. Launching Dtocs allowed me to scale up, reach more people in the USA and Canada, and amplify my environmental impact.
