Our story
Founded in January 2022 by René Haas and Silvain Toromanoff, we are a dedicated team of 10+ individuals committed to combating climate change.
The story behind NeoCarbon begins with René, an industrial engineer with a master in energy and resource management who previously scaled teams to 100+ people in a Berlin-based scale-up. At the same time, Silvain, also an engineer, who previously exited his previous start-up as CTO, became increasingly concerned about the climate crisis early in his career.
Together, they combined their expertise and shared values to create NeoCarbon and build a like-minded team.
Our goal at NeoCarbon is to make a real impact by developing groundbreaking Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. With our innovative approach and unwavering determination, we are working towards a sustainable future for all.
