Genomic information can be used to predict crop phenotypes. By using the predicted values for selection, breeding can be accelerated and made more efficient. We also successfully shorten development life cycles by growing in artificial environments like vertical farm.
By combining these two technologies, we will achieve 5X faster breeding. This technology is different from genome editing and can be applied to many crops.
