What we do
(Headquarters: Koganei-shi, Tokyo, President: Daisuke Yamanaka) will change its company name to NEWGREEN CORPORATION (New Green) effective April 1, 2024. Yamagata Design Agri Corporation, which became a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamagata Corporation through an inter-group M&A transaction in December 2023, will also change its name to NEWGREEN SUPPLY Co.
As for the organization, Hiroki Chujo, who has been leading the agricultural business since its launch, will be appointed co-chairman, and Tetsuya Nakamura, developer of the Aiga Morobo, which automatically controls weeds in paddy fields, will be appointed executive vice president. We are committed to connecting Japan's agricultural industry to the world's rapidly growing green markets for "organic food" and "decarbonization" and to increasing farmers' incomes.
