Clean Iron for Green Steel

Popular

What we do

We produce clean iron with the lowest carbon emissions using low grade ores and intermittent renewable energy.

A low-temperature, electrochemical-hydrometallurgical process that can utilize low-grade ores and be powered by intermittent renewable energy that improves sustainability and circularity of the steel industry.

Company's story

Our Specialty
Our Technology

Our process operates at 60 degrees Celsius and removes critical impurities from low-grade ores to produce high purity, gangue-free iron metal that can be charged directly into electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmakers.
Our story
The Challenge

Every year, the world produces 1.9 billion metric tonnes of steel predominantly by melting high-grade ores with coal and other minerals in furnaces operating at 1,600 degrees Celsius, emitting 10% of global carbon dioxide emissions.

By decarbonizing ironmaking, which accounts for 90% of steel’s emissions, we’re forging a cleaner and greener future for emission free steel.
