Vidullanka PLC constructs and operates renewable energy projects, using such as hydro , solar and bio mass sources. As a BOI approved company incorporated in 1997, Vidullanka plays a significant role in developing the island’s renewable energy generation capacity and contributing to the National Grid.
Vidullanka PLC was listed on the main board of Colombo Stock Exchange in October 2008 after being listed as the first hydro power company to do so in 2005 and the success of our strategic expansion into the renewable energy sector has been a significant factor.

Incorporated as a BOI Venture in 1997, Vidullanka PLC has over 2 decades of experience in the renewable energy power generation sector in Sri Lanka.
The Company has steadily grown, and its current capacity stands at
51 MW with a total energy supply of 183GWh.
Vidullanka PLC continues to grow in terms of its financial performance, asset base, resources and technical excellence. As a responsible corporate citizen, the Company is committed to sustainability and is also well supported by the management’s strategic vision and the concern for the planet and the people prior to profits
