1) SOLIDIA CEMENT
Reduce your cement production’s carbon emissions by 30% when compared to portland cement. Solidia Cement is a low limestone cement that gains strength by reacting to CO₂ instead of water.

- Non-hydraulic, carbonatable calcium silicate cement reacts with CO₂
- Utilizes existing assets and process

2) SOLIDIA PRECAST
Discover an economic way to use waste CO₂ to produce a more sustainable, high-performance precast concrete. Solidia Concrete™ utilizes Solidia Cement instead of portland cement and cures and hardens when exposed to CO₂. In this reaction, the CO₂ is permanently consumed, resulting in exceptionally strong, durable cement-based building materials, such as pavers, roof tiles and blocks.

Our story
Ideation 2007
Foundational IP filed at Rutgers University. Solidia formed to develop and commercialize technology with CO₂ mineralization technology.

Starting A Company 2011
Solidia established an R&D facility in Piscataway, NJ, for concrete product development, conducted its inaugural concrete paver trial, and achieved the first commercial-scale Solidia Cement production while also conducting overseas trials for other concrete applications.

Concept To Production 2015
Solidia Cement production in Europe, extensive trials in the US, CA, and EU for various concrete products, a second production in the US, and a commercial pilot producing Solidia pavers in New Jersey, marking the first product entry into the market, alongside ongoing supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) development trials.

Commercialize 2020
Paver production capacity in the Mid-Atlantic increased with over 1.5M square feet of product installed, first test pour of Solidia SCM™ with a ready-mix producer, third Solidia Cement production in the US, attainment of commercial enabling technical advancements, and company restructuring with a new leadership team to support commercial growth.

Expansion 2023+
Solidia’s expansion to Texas, Solidia Cement production with a new North American partner, announcement of a Solidia owned and operated concrete products manufacturing facility coming online in 2024, and first Solidia SCM sold into the market.
