Nothing genetically modified
At Sundrop it’s what doesn’t go into our fruit that makes the difference. We take great care in selecting naturally bred seeds from delicious varieties of fruit that are suitable for Australian tastes and growing conditions. Our high tech greenhouses provide natural barriers to pest and disease plus we use beneficials and natural products to manage against these threats. Our water, which we supplement through our own desalination process, is recycled to maximise the use of the nutrients within the water and minimise waste.

Sundrop produces high quality truss tomatoes that are distributed across Australia through Coles. We take care to deliver only the highest quality fruit that provides a great taste that is great for Australian conditions. We continually monitor global trends to provide varieties that are the best-in-class, to provide a better customer experience.

We use the sun’s energy to produce freshwater for irrigation. And we turn it into electricity to power our greenhouse to heat and cool our crops.
A Sundrop greenhouse turns seawater and sunlight into energy and water.
We then use sustainably sourced carbon dioxide and nutrients to maximise the growth of our crops.
Sundrop integrates solar power, electricity generation, fresh water conservation, and production, climate control, and hydroponics to enable the year-round production of premium produce at high yields with consistent quality and deliver a meaningful reduction in fossil fuel and water use through innovative use of renewable energy / low carbon technologies. For each new project developed, Sundrop forms long term partnerships with its customers. This allows the design of customized facilities to precisely meet the customers’.
