Our aim is to fuse 'traditional agriculture' with 'cutting-edge industrial technology'.
Equipped with three state-of-the-art facilities, the 'Next Generation Large-Scale Facility Horticulture Business' will create an evolved form of Japanese agriculture that can compete on a global scale.

High-sugar tomato cultivation facilities

Evolved version of the tomato greenhouse. Special stress cultivation technology and advanced environmental control technology are added. Cultivates uniquely dark and tasty tomatoes.
Fruit and vegetable processing plant
In addition to the traditional technology of cutting and freezing fruit and vegetables, the latest freeze-drying technology has been introduced, which has great potential.
Artificial light-utilising plant factories.
The most advanced form of agricultural production. Safe and secure vegetables grown without pesticides and harvested stably all year round in an optimum, clean environment that is not affected by external influences.

Based on the agricultural business know-how of the Chiba-based Wagoen Group, a pioneer in sixth industrialisation, Fukui Wago is working to develop agribusiness professionals who will be active in Japan's future agricultural industry, with a view to developing farm management packages and programmes.
