What we do
EDEN SOLUTION FOR FRESH PRODUCE
EDEN Solution is the innovative coating developed for extending the shelf life of fresh produce for longer naturally. We initiated to develop this solution for whole fruit coated and fresh-cut coated that edible, and extend shelf life three times longer. Our first initial market is the domestic market, which is Thailand to fight and solve the fresh produce waste and spoilage that were happened along the agricultural supply chain.
Company's story
Our Specialty
EDEN’s solution helps to maintain the quality and shelf life of fresh produce by
1. It can extend shelf life three times longer than its originate shelf life
2. It helps to provide anti-browning ability to prevent fresh produce from oxidation
3. It helps to delay microbial growth that causes the root of short shelf-life problems.
4. It can maintain the quality of fresh produce and some nutrition of fresh produce.

Our story
The Global Challenge of Fresh Produce and Eden Agritech's Bio-Solution
The global consumption of fruits and vegetables reaches millions of tons annually, with a market size of a staggering USD 1.55 trillion. This immense and competitive sector faces new challenges in the modern world, where consumers demand convenience and trust in their food services, including access to a wider variety of high-quality products. Consequently, fresh produce producers and distributors grapple with high demand and fierce competition while battling the inherent obstacle of short shelf life for their products.
This limited shelf life leads to a cascade of issues, including food spoilage and losses within supply chains, increased costs for air transportation and cold storage, the use of potentially harmful chemical solutions to maintain freshness, and ultimately, compromised quality of fresh produce reaching consumers worldwide. The FAO reports a staggering 1.3 billion tons, or 1.3 trillion kilograms, of fresh produce wasted annually, with 40-50% of this waste attributed to root crops, fruits, and vegetables. While producers have strived to minimize this waste, current solutions often rely on inefficient and potentially harmful chemical treatments.
Founded in 2016 by a group of passionate young entrepreneurs and innovators in the fresh produce sector, Eden Agritech Company Limited ("Eden") emerged with a clear vision: to address this root cause by developing a bio-based solution to the aforementioned challenges. Eden's first innovation, "Naturen," is a revolutionary non-chemical, invisible, and edible coating solution specifically designed for fruits. Utilizing innovative membrane technology, Naturen modifies the surrounding atmosphere of the fruit, reducing stress and delaying the ripening process. The product is approved by the Thai FDA for its effectiveness in extending shelf life and ensuring safe consumption. Moreover, numerous customer use cases demonstrate Naturen's remarkable ability to significantly reduce fruit spoilage, bringing losses down from 50% to less than 5% per sea-freight shipment.
