What we do
We are not an agri tech, marine tech or climate tech company. We are a “regenerative” tech company.
We do not see kelp as a mere foodstuff, but focus on its function as a seaweed that contributes to global warming countermeasures, absorbing about five times more CO2 than the green carbon represented by forests.
In cooperation with local fishing cooperatives, we cultivate and utilize kelp that contributes to the preservation of the marine environment.

Our story
In Japan, kelp is mainly distributed for food. Since I was born, I have grown up seeing kelp as something to eat.
However, when I learned about the important role kelp plays in the sea and learned that it is a superhero that has unlimited effective uses, enriches the sea, and even solves the climate change problem,
I decided to form a team with Kelp, the savior of the earth, to solve various earth problems.
At that moment, I started my second life as a kelp mania who devotes all my time to kelp.
Sachi means Happiness
Umi means sea
We are a team that explores the happiness of the sea.
